Is it true?

I read a statement once, that when people show you how they want to be treated, believe them. I didn’t hold it true. Until I treated them right and they repayed with gossip. Until they repeatedly showed me that all they wanted was a transactional relationship.

Now, sadly, I believe. People will always show you how they want to be treated. Believe them. They know themselves.
